Boulder Group Rides
Every group ride you're looking for, all in one place! This site pulls upcoming rides from the most active cycling clubs in Boulder County and displays them on an interactive map.

Why this exists
Boulder's group ride scene is incredible. But finding out what's happening, when, and where usually means checking a dozen club pages. This project puts it all in one place.
A backend process pulls the latest events from the Strava API twice a day (12 PM & 1 AM) and filters them down to rides that begin near Boulder. The data is always updated and requires zero effort from the clubs themselves.
Clubs on the map
The following clubs are currently included. To suggest a new one, email us at boulderrides.cc@gmail.com.
All blue-labeled clubs are based in Boulder County, while green-labeled clubs are not. Rides starting within 15 miles of downtown Boulder are shown for green clubs, and within 35 miles for blue clubs. This allows for the inclusion of special rides such as Mt. Blue Sky, Rollins Pass, Estes Park, etc. organized by Boulder clubs. Any rides without a Strava route are excluded.
How to use it
Pick a day on the calendar. Highlighted days have rides, and the first available one loads automatically.
Hover or tap a route to see its details. Click to open the Strava event.
Solid lines are paved, dashed lines are unpaved (e.g., gravel). Each route has a pin that marks its start.
Use the Metric button to display the ride statistics in km and meters.
Mobile app
There is no need to download a separate app. This site adapts automatically to phones and tablets. Add it to your home screen for a full-screen, app-like experience.
On Android: open in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right, and select "Add to Home screen".
On iPhone: open in Safari, tap the share button (↑) at the bottom, and select "Add to Home Screen".
